In case you have just started following...


The Atlantic Cup is a competition made up of three stages. The first stage is a long offshore, double-handed leg from Charleston, South Carolina to New York City. The second stage is a sprint leg, also double-handed from New York to Newport, Rhode Island. The third and final stage will be a fully crewed inshore series raced over a weekend in Newport.

The offshore leg started in Charleston, South Carolina Saturday, May 11th at 2pm.
1st place Bodacious Dream
2nd place Lecoq Cuisine

The sprint leg started in New York City Saturday, May 18th at 2pm.
1st place Bodacious Dream
2nd place Lecoq Cuisine

The third and final leg is the inshore series which will be run in Newport. May 25th & 26th – 11am-4pm daily.
For this stage the boats will be sailed with a maximum of six crew onboard. The start/finish line for all races will be just off Fort Adams. The inshore series will allow teams to push boats to their limits. Points will be awarded for each race and the skipper with the greatest amount of combined points from the offshore and the inshore series will win the Atlantic Cup!
